Showing my age here, but when Zingers originally came out, those were the raspberry-coconut and orange-vanilla ones. For a very short time, the chocolate ones had the separate brand name of “Zangers,” and those ads on Peanuts specials promoted both circa 1972. I never heard the story of why the Zangers name was discontinued, but I keep waiting for Dolly Madison to bring it back one day.

Love this comment! I learned some new stuff. I am a big fan of orange/vanilla. I really would like to have tried those.
Glad to be of assistance. I’ve spent the last half-century being accused of making up Zangers, but they were real, at least for one year.
