When I was younger and my family went shopping at Sears or Kmart, it always turned into a multi-hour adventure. Mom and my sisters would take their time browsing for whatever we needed, and she'd give me some freedom to roam the store. Oh, you bet my first stop was the toy department, where I'd mentally create a checklist of all the toys I wished I could have. After that, I'd casually wander over to the electronics section, eager to try my luck with the video game systems they had out on demo. If they were occupied or not powered on, I'd find a cozy spot and start watching all the TVs in the store.
