Can’t sleep or clown will eat me.

Ah, memories of my childhood bedroom flood back, and let me tell you, it was like a clown extravaganza in there. I have no idea what my family was thinking, but those darkly paneled walls were covered with clowns, almost every inch of them! Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not clown-phobic or anything, but having a circus staring down at you while you're trying to recover from a fever isn't the most comforting thing.

Picture this: I'd be lying there, feeling under the weather, and all these clowns seemed to be waiting for me to drift off to sleep so they could stage some weird midnight circus takeover! Okay, I might be exaggerating, but you get the point.

So, being the curious kid I was, I asked my parents why on earth they decided to plaster the walls with clowns. And you know what they said? They told me that when I was a little tyke, they took me to a park, and there was this clown making balloon animals. Apparently, when I saw him, my face lit up with the biggest grin they'd ever seen.

Now, I don't want to rain on their clown parade, but I couldn't help but point out that maybe it was the balloon animals that got me all excited. But hey, that got my mom laughing, and I guess that's all that mattered. Parents and their funny ways, right?

Looking back, I'm kind of relieved that they didn't go clown-crazy the moment I was born. Imagine if they got me a Peekaboo Crib Clown for my crib! I shudder to think of the therapy bills that might have come my way due to some subconscious fear of clowns. Dodged a bullet there, I guess.

So, there you have it – the story of my clown-infested childhood bedroom. It's funny how little things like that stick with you, and it's always good for a chuckle when reminiscing about the good old days. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to grab a balloon animal and see if I can recreate the magic of my childhood smiles!

Remember when Mickey Mouse decided to commit suicide?
Unless you lived in the 1930s or are a fan of vintage comic strips you might not be aware of the attempted Mickey Mouse suicide.
