See ā€˜n’ Say! Mine from 1974 is still around, though I didn’t know that for years. My mother had put it away (she’s never said where), along with the Fisher-Price Village and Airport and all the little round people and vehicles. When my son was 2 (2004) and we were visiting her, she brought all of these out for him to play with, and I was just amazed! I never thought I’d see them again, and now here’s my own kid playing with the very same things! My mom’s pretty awesome!

A great Mom! It's amazing how solidly built these things were. I was asking someone I knew who had bought the newer version for their son and they thought it was sad that it died quickly while the one they had when they were a kid (1970s) still worked.
