That beige Atari joystick in that photo is from the Atari XE Game System (or what the Internet now calls the Atari XEGS). If you haven’t seen one before, I recommend looking it up. It’s the most aesthetically pleasing console / computer Atari made in my opinion. Very 80s looking with beige white case and pastel coloured buttons.
I have wanted an XE for a long time. Those pastel buttons should have been used as the color of the joystick buttons as well.
It has been on my list as a podcast topic for a while, I think it would get me close to finishing all the Atari consoles. Maybe I need to finally tackle it in this upcoming season.
