One of my favorite movies as a kid. They should have paid Dabney Coleman for likeness rights because I absolutely would buy this off eBay just to get a mini Dabney Coleman as Jack Flack.

You are right, this would have made it so much cooler. Even if he was just on the box, I would have preferred it.

The Cloak & Dagger movie had such a big impact on my brother and I. High stakes action for kids. The consequences felt so real. It also taught me a BIG life lesson - just because elderly people can seem non-threatening & kind doesn't mean they won't try to kill you!

The MOST important takeaway from the movie.

I remember this being one of the movie tie-ins I tried when this came out. I was so pumped for that movie, being a movie with Henry Thomas after ET. I was gonna see all his movies, he was so good.

Good point. Him being in this movie and E.T. was definitely a plus, even at my young age.

How complex of a board game is it? Is it something any kid could have picked up and played right away or is it more involved than that?

Any kid could play it. I wouldn't call it a "kid's game" but it's learnable in a single session.
