I had a Lemon Twist in… the early 80s?? I also had a strawberry version that ended up in an apple tree. πŸ‹πŸ“

I am very familiar with the lemon twist. I have seen modern versions of the strawberry for sale but didn't see any retro versions online. Fruit on a rope is the way to go.

Can't tell you how many times, "But the very best thing of alllllll, is the - counter on this ballllllllll" has randomly escaped my lips. (Right up there with the bagel bites jingle lol)

I remember my little sister had this back in the day. Probably multiple versions, too.

Was she one of those kids who could use two at the same time? I didn't even know it was possible, but have seen some footage. If I tried, I wouldn't have survived.

I honestly don't know. I wouldn't put it past her but this overlapped my final years of college and initial forays into adulting, so I only visited the old homestead a couple times a year. I saw them lying around in various places so I know they got used...

The "Jingle Jump" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zlJuVGb3xiM featured a catchy little theme song. I remember having this 45. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K4An1ypelEQ

They seem to pop up from time to time. Nowadays I see them being made by companies under different names. Seem to have similar function.
