I love that feature of Plex. I make my own intros for each summer. One of my hobbies is backyard theater, I loved drive-ins as a kid but they're all gone around here. I bought a 16'x9' screen and a projector to watch movies in the backyard at night. Custom intros are a must have for this experience.

That is brilliant! I need to add my own little intro soon.

Man, watching that HBO intro gave me the retro chills. It was sooooo exciting anytime you saw it or heard its distinctive music because you just knew you and your family were in store for some fun entertainment. Like a subconscious Pavlovian signal, popcorn and sodas would somehow appear in our hands just in time for the main feature.

After this intro, you would get the movie rating. Whenever I watch it, I am always waiting for that ratings announcement.

I like the preroll features so much I miss them when I watch a movie on a streaming service.

I'll watch a cartoon, a trailer and a short before I fire up a movie at home. All I need is a curtain to open and close before the feature.

A curtain, yes!

The HBO suburbs intro is iconic for sure. It was everything when we got a black box!! lol

I was a big fan of the Alfred Hitchcock and the Three Investigators books when I was a kid. Thanks for the news about its return!

I love this idea of adding trailers and intros. I need to educate myself on Plex. I have never messed with it.

Love that portable Vectrex. Amazing what knowledgeable fans can accomplish. Same goes for Booze of Monkey Island!

Agreed. I marvel at the tools that are available and the skills people have. I am dreaming up fan fiction in my head for stuff, while people are actually making stuff to make the world cooler.
