I love candy corn! I enjoy having a candy dish full of candy corn around the house. It looks festive and guests like to grab a few candy corn "kernels". It does pair well with nuts... I like it with salted cashews or salted peanuts. I've also mixed some candy corn into large batches of pumpkin seeds that I've roasted after carving my jack-o-lanterns. I will say that a little bit of candy corn goes a long way.
I'm a picky eater so candy corn was never going to be for me, my biggest problem with it was after trick or treating, I couldn't give it away. I usually gave most of my candy away but I never got any takers for cc, it ended up getting tossed.
I was not allowed to eat the candy corn given during trick or treating. Usually it was hand-bagged, and my Mom didn't like that. I would try to eat it while out, but a lot of it was thrown away.
I'm with you, candy corn is awesome and I don't get the hate for it. I especially like it mixed with roasted, salted peanuts. Addictive!
I wonder why no one sells this combo pre-packaged?
Good question... Our nation's confectioners and convenience stores are leaving money on the table! It's a great non-messy road trip snack.
A business is born?
Yes! The candy corn/peanuts combo is excellent.
Ok, I have to try this!
I wish I could quit you, candy corn.
It is that bit of nostalgia that kicks the Halloween season off right!

Its powerful stuff. Maybe not the best candy in the world, but I think the hate is overinflated by the internet.

I'm not a fan of traditional Candy Corn, but I did find "Nerds" branded candy corn this year and it's amazing!
I have not seen the Nerds Candy Corn, but I think I need to seek it out.
