Retroist Batman the TV Series Podcast

Welcome to the Retroist Batman the TV Series Podcast. On this week’s show we talk all about the TV cult classic of the 1960s , Batman. This wonderfully silly is perhaps one the more iconic TV shows that have been broadcast. I hope that I am able to do it justice. This week I am joined by Vic Sage with a new “Why Should I Know this Person?” and some terrifying riddles.

hey retroist its jamie i loved batman growing up themusic the villans the good guys just everything about it. i have 2 questions for you 1. is the batman tv series out on dvd . 2. i noticed alot lately you have cut off the theme songs why dont you play the whole theme songs anymore especillay the ones that people love. just wondering again great show and i hope you have a great weekend jamie.

  2. This series was my all time favorite Super Hero Tv show. There are so many layers to this TV show that this one may require a follow up episode. The behind the scenes stuff revealed in autobiographies alone are enough for a podcast.

The show was campy, but there was stuff left off the books like the Back To The Batcave special, The Batgirl pilot (Unaired), More detail on the two Legends TV movies (Horrible). There is enough to stuff in two more hours.

The battles with the network, budget cuts, syndication travesties..I am an expert here..beam me up Scotty!

    Great show..really really enjoyed it!
