The Retroist began as a personal blog dedicated to nostalgia and has slowly grown to include a podcast and a great crew of regular authors and occasional contributors. While the site has yet to win any awards, it has a congenial nature that would probably make it worthy for a prize-sash of some sort. If they handed out sashes to websites, which sadly they do not yet, despite all the letters I keep writing to the Internet.

The site is maintained by me still (I love computers), but editing duties are now shared with the great Vic Sage who joined the site several years ago.

But wait there’s more…

The site also has many people who post several times a week on the site and each of them is a special and well assembled snowflake. Just browse the site each day and you will see a panoply of stellar nostalgia fanatics.

Blogging and podcasting about old stuff makes the Retroist very happy. Also pizza. Oh and much like the McRib, The Retroist is like a BBQ on a bun without the bones. You’re only human daddy. Chomp!

Searching through the alleys for useful knowledge in the city of Nostalgia. Huge cinema fanatic and sometimes carrier of the flame for the weirding ways of 80’s gaming, toys, and television. When his wife lets him he is quite happy sitting in the corner eating buckets of beef jerky.
