King’s Quest II is a far more polished game than the original. This makes it less frustrating and easier to solve. It is an early example of gaming evolution that makes the sequel a superior product to the original.
In 1984, Sierra On-Line released the original King's Quest for the IBM PCjr. It was a game that would push the limits of the hardware and become a legend in the industry and would spawn a slew of sequels and a ton of imitators.
