The Projectionist’s Sinister Tales of Terror Ep. 05 (Toenails)

Hello there, dear listeners. It has come time once more to venture down into the Vault for one of my Sinister Tales of Terror! I have chosen a story this week for your listening pleasure for all of you animal lovers. An offering that might make you think twice when you next hear the sound of Toenails on the floor…

Yes. There is nothing to see here…in the light!

This story comes to us from the twisted mind of Lynne Lowery. As a matter of fact it takes place in my old hometown of Haddonfield. Furthermore it caused quite a commotion once the law enforcement officials were called in to investigate the incident.

However you should set a little time for yourself before enjoying my latest broadcast. It is nearly 15 minutes in length. I particularly enjoy our longer offerings but in contrast I realize that time is such a precious commodity. So you can be sure there will be shorter episodes in the near future.

Now at the time of this broadcast it was feared that my radio show would be too terrifying for The Retroist. Which is why of course that Victor continues to slap that ridiculous warning. You will in fact hear my announcement that the show wouldn’t be carried on this network.

Thankfully clearer minds than Sage’s stepped in and deemed his fears pointless, eh? So I want to thank the Retroist himself for making that all clear. It frees me from that particular concern so I might focus on more important matters. Heh, heh.

In addition I believe that the Retroist himself took matter into his own hands and you can find my broadcasts on iTunes and Google Play.
Now I beg of you to extinguish your electric lights. Lean in closer to the soothing glow of your personal radio. As I begin this broadcast for my Sinister Tales of Terror…

The Projectionist

Lurking in the bowels of the Retroist Vault, the Projectionist comforts himself with the dreams of celluloid glory of days gone by. With his assistant, Daniel XIII, in the quiet time of the night he serves as host in what has been dubbed the Haunted Drive-In. Bringing films to the entertainment starved masses the Haunted Drive-In projector roars to life and shines brightly once again...
