This French Poster For Buckaroo Banzai Actually Looks Like Mad Max?

It is no simple boast when I say that 1984’s The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across The 8th Dimension is one of my favorite films of all time. Easily in my top five movies that I can watch endlessly and I’ve shared on the site a couple of times how much I absolutely love, no, LOVE this film. Here is a scene that I think helps to show why this is one of the greatest cult movies…and why Buckaroo Banzai is a hero I can get behind so quickly.

Well, last week as a birthday gift, one of my best friends got me this original French Buckaroo Banzai poster. It too is awesome but I can’t help but think that maybe the illustrator that worked on this was watching 1979’s Mad Max?

You should also remember it was Buckaroo Banzai that first proved that bow ties are cool.
