Due to my work schedule I wasn’t able to drop into the arcade to celebrate my birthday with my friends until just last evening. I won’t lie. I received some amazing retro items that I’m going to share for the next couple of days.
My friend and co-worker at the arcade and guest on the Diary of an Arcade Employee Podcst, Andy Pickle, managed to snag me this unopened 1979 Buck Rogers in the 25th Century paint by numbers set from Craft Master.
The box was so big I couldn’t get a real good scan of it…and to the shock of those attending the birthday party I opened it up. Why would I not? I need to paint this puppy as soon as I can get my hands on the right set of paint…it looks like after 37 years the acrylic paint has transformed itself into solid chunks of latex.
I was happier than a Twiki robot on the dance floor!
