This morning on the Saturday Frights Facebook page I happened to share some images from the cult film Humongous which was originally released on June 11, 1982…which means it was going head to head with both Grease 2 and a little film called E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial and one week after Poltergeist and Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan debuted.
How did it fare with Ebert? Well…it introduce Zeke the mascot of the Dog of the Week for Siskel and Ebert’s Sneak Previews synicated series if that tells you anything. I recall the Dog of the Week being introduced by Spot, maybe Zeke was too hard to work with?

Why not check out the original trailer for Humongous?
