Copier technology has been around for a while, but in the 90’s the had started to become pervasive. Naturally with tech like that worming its way into everyday life, it was time for the toy companies to come up with a variation on the tech. While the Magic Copier didn’t actually work like a real copier, it was in the same ballpark, but in a lot ways it was much cooler. You can make drawings that would normally be temporary and give you a copy to hang on the fridge.
I never owned one, but I remembered these commercials and can still sing the first part of the jingle by heart.
