This sounds like a bargain, I think? Although it is rather unclear. Usually when you are trying to sell something at any price you want to give them the fill thing you are selling or even more than that, certainly not 3/4 of it. Obviously Brother knew their business and their target audience of people who wanted something that was almost a word processor but a heck of a lot cheaper.
