Kellogg’s has done multiple fruit squares cereals over the years, but Kellogg’s Apple Cinnamon Squares Cereal was my favorite of the lot. It came out in the mid-eighties and since it looked liked shredded wheat, it was quickly purchased by my grandmother who was obsessed with cereals that appeared healthy. This opened up the door for me to try it and I was hooked. While it never replaced the much more overtly sugary kid’s cereals that I loved, it became the more “Adult” option and one, because it seemed like it might be healthier than the normal sugar bombs I ate, that was accepted by my Mother.
