In the competitive world of breath mints a lot of great products have come and gone over the years. In the seventies a mint called, “The Mint”, with the emphasis on a very long Theeeee, hit the market. It was sugar-free and had a great ad campaign that happened to feature a young Joe Piscopo with breath too bad even for his Mama, and others stressing that this just wasn’t any mint, it was THEEEEE Mint.
