Retro Radio Memories Podcast – Episode 005 (Mutual Radio Theater: North From Marakesh)

Welcome back friends to the Retro Radio Memories podcast! Each podcast my co-host, the Projectionist and I will briefly discuss a classic old time radio show before sharing said program with you listeners. This week with the passing of Leonard Nimoy we felt we should share an episode from the Mutual Radio Theater entitled “North From Marakesh”, a show that Nimoy was host for on Friday nights back in 1980.

If you have any suggestions for radio programs you would like for us to cover in the future or comments, email them to me at You can also follow me on Twitter and on Facebook. The Projectionist may be reached at if you have any comments or questions for the shadowy cinephile from Haddonfield.

Music on the show was provided by Peachy (the Gustav Holst of Wales), if you have musical needs, why not contact Peachy at And be sure to “like” him on his Facebook Page.

Searching through the alleys for useful knowledge in the city of Nostalgia. Huge cinema fanatic and sometimes carrier of the flame for the weirding ways of 80s gaming, toys, and television. When his wife lets him he is quite happy sitting in the corner eating buckets of beef jerky.
