Vincent Price Was Serious About His Peanut Butter

I’m not sure at what point legendary actor Vincent Price developed his disdain for the jelly portion of peanut butter and jelly but he felt strong enough about it that he appeared in this 1970s ad for the Peter Paul company’s Peanut Butter and No Jelly candy bar.

Personally I have absolutely zero recollection of this particular candy bar but if you want to see some awesome history about it then I highly suggest you go visit the Collecting Candy Blog! They have not only a brief history of the candy bar and it’s variations but some vintage wrappers, a trade ad, and even a Nixon promo pin for you to look at.
