This great example of local holiday advertising is for a waterbed store, LaBrie’s Waterbed Warehouse. According to its poster, the commercial ran around 1977 and is filled with all sorts of wonderful holiday magic. Why should you shop at LaBrie’s? Well how about the LaBrie’s Christmas Corner, which I think is just a corner of the warehouse where they have piled up Christmas appropriate gifts.
It is a well know fact that waterbed people are difficult to shop for at the holidays, so LaBrie’s cuts out the guess-work with a pile of holiday themed waterbed related gifts guaranteed to please even the most jaded of waterbed owners (and at a good discount).

What waterbed Christmas commercial would be complete without waterbed Santa you ask? Well just wait for the end, because that jolly ol’ elf makes an appearance atop a flying water-filled king size bed.
Here is the complete commercial for your viewing pleasure.
