What might a UHF Animated Series have looked like?

The 25th Anniversary Blu-ray of the “Weird Al” classic, UHF was released this month and I have already watched it three times. How this film didn’t get a sequel is beyond me because I just can’t get enough of those late 1980’s antics. Not satisfied with the limited “official” offerings from the UFH-universe I started looking online for all things UHF-related.

One of the first things I found was this piece by Chopfe which I think gives a pretty good idea of we might have seen if UHF had made the jump to the small screen as Saturday Morning animated series. Colorful and wacky, I can just picture the animated spoofs that could have poured from the fertile mind of cartoon George.
