Ruth Gordon had quite the career, starting in the silent era she worked right up to her passing in 1985 and would appear in long list of well received films including, Rosemary’s Baby, Harold and Maude and one of my favorite films, My Bodyguard. Along the way she would pick up awards and accolades.
With a career like her’s it shouldn’t be too surprising that she would do some ad and commercial work, but I think it is a real testament to her unique career and longevity that in her eighties she was chosen to appear in ads and commercial to sell the Subaru BRAT (Bi-drive Recreational All-terrain Transporter).
Fun Fact: Did you know Ronald Reagan was a big fan of the BRAT?
