Halloween Is Grinch Night (1977)

Halloween is a mere 5 days away! I’ve had the Halloween spirit a lot longer this year than I did last year and that is thanks in no small part to watching Holiday specials like 1977’s Halloween is Grinch Night in my free time!
Halloween is Grinch Night

This was the first Dr. Seuss special to have aired on ABC as well as being the only special at that time produced by Dr. Seuss Enterprises. In this special, Hans Conried (The Hobbit, Peter Pan) took over narrating duties as well as providing his vocal talents for the Grinch from Boris Karloff. The legendary Henry Gibson provides the singing voice for Max, the Grinch’s faithful companion as well.

Can Euchariah keep the Grinch from visiting Whoville on Grinch Night? You’ll just have to watch the special for yourself for that answer!
