A couple of weeks back the No Quarter Podcast had a special show that was an Arcade Draft, with each of the four participants, including Mike and Carrington, picking 5 of the games they would include in each of their fantasy arcades. Everything from Spy Hunter to Quadrapong was picked during the show but one of the guests on the show, Quinn Dunki, selected Xenophobe. Which is an awesome arcade game to be sure…what I didn’t know until the podcast was that it had been ported to the Atari 2600.

I’ve not had the pleasure myself to play the title on the 2600 but this video certainly makes it look like an okay port.

A big thanks again to the No Quarter Podcast for the heads up on the cartridge as well as to AtariAge for the images and box art. Make sure to hop on over and give the No Quarter Podcast a listen, if you like classic arcade gaming you’ll not be disappointed.
