Did you ever wonder what liberty tastes like? It turns out the answer is sweet delicious milk chocolate (just as I had always expected). I know this because in the mid 1980s leading up to the centennial of the Statue of Liberty, Nestle sold chocolate Statue of Liberty novelties to help raise money for preservation and restoration.
This is a chocolate that should not have been phased out after 1986, but instead should have become a 4th of July staple.
