Welcome back friends to a new installment of Retro Records! This week we have chosen to share with you “Birth of the Bionic Man” from the 1976 Power Records and storybook. There are a few changes to the origin of Colonel Steve Austin from what we saw in the original TV series but I think hands down this is one of the best productions we’ve shared with you on the site.
Of course it doesn’t hurt when the artwork on the record sleeve is by the legendary Neal Adams. Thanks to Power Records blog for not only the artwork you see up top but for sharing the storybook that came with the record on their YouTube page.
