If I ran Alka-Seltzer, I wouldn’t spend a dime on new strategy, I would just continue to blanket the world with “Plop, plop, fizz, fizz, oh what a relief it is.” That jingle is burned deep into my brain and I can’t walk past a box of Alka-Seltzer without thinking about it. So I say, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. Heck, I wouldn’t even make new commercial, just break out some older ones and repeat them.
Especially this one with the late great Sammy Davis Jr.
