Welcome back to a new installment of Retro Radio Memories! This week we have picked out an episode of the classic X Minus One Science Fiction Radios series from back in 1955 entitled “Perigi’s Wonderful Dolls”. For it’s first 15 episodes including the one presented today, X Minus One reworked Dimension X radio scripts from back in 1950 to 1951.

After those first 15 episodes, staff writers Ernest Kinoy and George Lefferts among others began to adapt the works of such legendary sci-fi writers as Ray Bradbury, Phillip K. Dick, Theodore Sturgeon, and Robert A. Heinlein to name a few. X Minus One aired it’s last radio show on January 9, 1958 after it’s 126th radio broadcast but due to it’s popularity and strong writing the show tried to make a comeback in 1973 with “The Iron Chancellor” but failed to find a new audience.

So take a moment for yourself and join us as we investigate a curious doll shop and “Perigi’s Wonderful Dolls” on Retro Radio Memories.
