Brazil’s Atari Commercials sure were….Different

I do not speak Brazilian, so I am not exactly sure what the narrator is talking about, but the visuals in this classic commercial from 1983 sure are…uhm…different? You can infer what you like from this ad, but I would like to focus on a different aspect of this ad, the actor. Is it just me or does he look a little like Charles Grodin?

  1. Carreira says:

    Loosely translated:

    – This man is driving his F!, racing against a incredible enemy, the Atari Videogame.
    – It’s a dangerous track, but the other drivers don’t seen to care about it.
    – But the challenge has been beating by the human.
    – Atari videogame, the enemy everyone wants.
    – The Atari’s Atari.
