Welcome back to a new installment of Retro Records and this week we have delved into the Retroist Vault to bring back this 1984 Transformers storybook and record from the Marvel Comics line of ‘Big Looker’ storybooks.
The story “Battle For Cybertron” not only focuses on the epic battle that forces Optimus Prime and his fellow Autobots to crashland on Earth but their first encounter with Spike and Sparkplug Witwicky. If that wasn’t awesome enough the storybook that is provided is painted by none other than legendary illustrator Earl Norem and I have to add that I would pay a pretty penny to have some of that original art hanging on my wall.
So grab your favorite snack and beverage and join us we sit in the living room floor listening to Retro Records and the Battle for Cybertron!
