Welcome back friends to another installment of Retro Records and once again we have our friends from Kiddie Records Weekly to thank for our selection this week, ‘Walt Disney’s The Three Little Pigs’. This 10″ 78RPM was released by Capitol Records in 1949 and also contained a storybook that KRW was kind enough to include in their YouTube video.

The record narration was handled by veteran radio announcer Don Wilson (Jack Benny, Ferdinand the Bull) who by the way had his last television appearance in the 1966 Batman playing a newscaster named “Walter Klondike” in the episode entitled ‘Dizzoner the Penguin’.
