Welcome back to a new installment of Retro Radio Memories, this week have an episode from the classic Lone Ranger Radio series entitled “Hero’s Grave”, which originally was broadcast on the ABC radio network back on May 30, 1945.

Brace Beemer supplied the voice of the Lone Ranger in this particular episode, he would in fact voice the character until the end of the series in 1955. The Ranger’s Nephew, Dan Reid, I believe was played by Dick Beals in this episode.

So come and journey back with us on Retro Radio Memories as we follow the Lone Ranger, and Dan as they visit the “Hero’s Grave”. While listening to this classic episode you might want to bake some Jeno’s Pizza Rolls, Hayden Yale found out the Lone Ranger and Tonto are partial to them.

A big thank you goes out to Sean from the Throwback Reviews Podcast for helping us with an audio issue we were experiencing here at the Retroist Vault.
