One of my favourite movies is Fight Club but it isn’t ‘retro’ enough for me to write about it here on The Retroist. Until now!
Thanks to the 8-Bit Cinema series of videos on Youtube, I now have a legitimate reason to quote the modern masterpiece… The first rule of 8-bit fight club is… well, I’m saying 8-bit but watching this Streets of Rage inspired version of events has me wondering if the series should be named 16-bit as the graphics are clearly of the Super NES era.
The entire Cinefix 8-Bit movie channel is around 45 minutes and if you’ve not seen any of them before, I’d recommend you go spend your next lunch break having a watch.

This is a ton of fun! The mini missions (Slide, Fat stealing, “soap” making…) all absolutely perfect. And I loved the 8Bit Pixies song at the end. Thanks for sharing this!
