Welcome back to a new installment of Retro Records and this week we are giving the 1960 Quick Draw McGraw ‘Original TV Voices Soundtrack’ a spin on the turntable.

This comes to us by way of our friends over at Kiddie Records Weekly and features Quick Draw playing a host of sorts to the antics of Augie Doggie and Doggie Daddy, sharing the story of the duo, with Quick Draw and his loyal deputy Baba Looey adding comments as it is being told.

Daws Butler supplies the voices of Quick Draw, Baba Looey, and Augie Doggy with Doug Young voicing Doggie Daddy.

Hop on over to Kiddie Records Weekly and check out their wonderful selection, while you are there you might even think about becoming a subscriber! Tell ’em the Retroist sent you!

  1. Kiddie recoreds weekly is a good site, I’ve been checking them out for years now (back when their name was literal & they really did upload records every week). It’s fun seeing records I used to have, or alternate versions of ones I had, and of course ones that I missed out on.

  2. I use to grab a lot of these vintage kiddie albums from a great site called Bithip or something like that.
Don’t know if it’s still around though.
Great site and much appreciated the time and effort put into the digitizing and cleaning up of forgotten, vintage records.
