Welcome to another installment of Retro Radio Memories and for this week we have chosen to share an episode from the 1949 Green Lama radio show entitled “The Man Who Never Existed”. The radio show debuted on the CBS Radio Network three years after the comic book run of Jethro Dumont/The Green Lama had ended and is voiced by legendary character actor Paul Frees (Rocky and Bullwinkle, The Haunted Mansion). The creator of the Green Lama, Kendell Foster Crossen, also had a hand in writing the radio scripts.

Now if you want to know a little more about the Green Lama might I suggest you take a quick look at the review I wrote up a couple of years ago for our friends over at Radio Archives?

So it’s time to let those dishes soak in the sink just a little while longer and get comfy in your favorite chair as you journey with us on Retro Radio Memories to learn why Green is one of the six colors of Justice with the Green Lama!
