“Remember (Christmas)” by Harry Nilsson

Nothing calls to mind the beauty of the holiday season better than Harry Nilsson dressed as a vampire singing “Remember (Christmas)” at the piano in the 1970’s British comedy “Son of Dracula.”

What this song has to do with Christmas exactly, OR Dracula, I cannot say. I’ve never seen this eccentric movie, which stars Nilsson (he plays the son in question), Ringo Starr, and boasts appearances from Keith Moon and John Bonham from Led Zeppelin, but now I feel that I must seek it out and make it a part of my holiday viewing tradition! For fans of less eccentric fare, this song was also used to successfully evoke melancholy sentiments in the movie “You’ve Got Mail”.

It's all just pops and clicks within the vinyl groove I'm listening to. Music, movies, commercials, action figures, cassette tapes...anything that you left in your parents' attic when you moved. I want to talk about it.
