Behind The Scenes: A Midsummer Night’s Dream (1935)

That awesome behind the scenes photo you see comes to us from our friends at the Decaying Hollywood Mansion and gives us a look at none other than James Cagney as Bottom from 1935’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. A fun bit of trivia for you movie lovers, there were two directors for this picture. Max Reinhardt and William Dieterle, the latter was director on the picture for only one week as Reinhardt had a breach-of-contract suit filed against him. The Judge ruled in Reinhardt’s favor and the restraining order was lifted a week later.
