Tonight for your viewing pleasure we present the 17th episode of the first season of the classic Outer Limits entitled “Don’t Open Till Doomsday”. This story starts in 1929 and deals with a rather curious wedding gift left to the newlyweds Mr. and Mrs. Kry by a stranger. While Mr. Kry is changing into more casual clothes before sneaking out of the celebration with his wife he notices the new gift on the table. Opening the note attached to the box a message reads, “Don’t Open Till Doomsday”. Curiosity gets the better of Mr. Kry, ignoring the warning, he opens the gift to find an odd box within with a lighted peephole of sorts, looking into the eyepiece the young man begins to shriek in fear.

What is inside the box? What did the note mean? Why not join us down in the Retroist vault and find out why the box shouldn’t be opened until doomsday?
