The Hands of Orlac (1924)

The Hands of Orlac is a 1924 silent horror film directed by Robert Wiene who also directed “The Cabinet of Doctor Caligari”. The film stars Conrad Veidt. The plot of the film, even if you have not seen it, might be familiar since it had been reused many times (including in 2 remakes). Veidt plays a world-famous pianist who loses both hands in an accident. When new hands are grafted on, he doesn’t know they once belonged to…a murderer.
