Behind The Scenes: Dracula (1931)

While I personally think that anytime is the right time to enjoy one of the classic Universal Monster films it does seem that October is the appropriate time of the year to see Turner Classic Movies playing the likes of 1931’s Dracula. I really love what Christopher Lee did with the character in the fantastic Hammer Films but for me the Count that is closest to my heart is the version played by Bela Lugosi. Which is why I was so delighted to stumble upon this behind the scenes photo from the Decaying Hollywood Mansions Facebook page…except for why is the Prince of Darkness resting a foot against a light that clearly reads ‘Sun Arc’? That seems kind of dangerous for Dracula!
