The Talking Viewmaster adds Sound to an already Great Toy


I still cannot pin down what exactly I found compelling about the Viewmaster. Sure you could carry it with you and relive some of your favorite stories, but how do you explain why, when I had access to the recorded cartoon, that I would pick the Viewmaster.

  1. WOW those are huge!
    I have the older versions which seem a little smaller, but a bit bulkier for small hands to hold onto.
    I’d like to get one of these “newer” sound Viewers to compare the sound quality with the older ones.
    But then I’d have to collect all those “newer” sound reels!
