Red Riding Hood meets Coca-Cola


Back in the late 1940s-early 1950s, Walter Lantz (of Woody Woodpecker fame) made animated commercials for Coke, these aired in theaters and were thus considerably longer than TV commercials. This one is two minutes long, and spends most of that time without any dialog or showing the product at all. You spend a minute and a half thinking you’re watching an actual cartoon before they sneak the product placement in on you. Many theatrical commercials were like that back in those days.
