How they built the Spitter Dinosaur in Jurassic Park


From the era right before CGI took overtook practical special effect comes a treat from Stan Winston Studios. In this video we see how the Studio built Jurassic Park’s Animatronic Dilophosaurus (The Spitter). The live-action full-size dinosaur effects mechanic, Rick Galinson, details the processes and techniques used in building this iconic spitting dinosaur puppet.
