Saturday Frights - Sean Hartter
Welcome back to all of you fans of fiendish film and TV! Those howls you hear from the creatures of the night need be no cause for alarm, you are safe down here with us in the Retroist vault! Us? Yeah, that’s the one and only Doug McCoy behind the concession stand and you can see the esteemed Daniel XIII manning the projector. We also have good friend to the Retroist site Claymation Werewolff as head usher and Phisbon3s in the ticket booth!

This week we have the third episode from season one of Tales From the Crypt entitled ‘Dig That Cat…He’s Real Gone’! It’s a story about a down on his luck alcoholic named Ulric (Joe Pantoliano) who is given the opportunity to earn a lot of dough if he lets a mad scientist experiment on him. That experiment has to do with cats and their supposed nine lives. Fortunately for Ulric the Doctor is right and with eight lives left to spare the duo team up with a greedy and immoral circus barker (Robert Wuhl) to earn big bucks, by having people watch Ulric die for real and then be resurrected.

Of course being a Tales from the Crypt episode you have to bear in mind there will probably be treachery between characters and certainly a heaping of salty language, so viewer be warned. So come join us for a night of Saturday Frights as we gather around the computer for some Tales From the Crypt!
