Parker Brothers Video Game Comic Book Ads

I found these PB video game ads in The Amazing Spider-Man 251-253. I like how the ads ran consecutively, had the same format, and showed all the different home versions of the game. These are the kinds of ads I could have studied for hours. They still are.

Agreed. I’m a fan of the Parker Brothers game ads to. Giving a preview of the what the game looked like for all the systems was a great idea.

More than anything, these ads convinced me that I needed to upgrade from my 2600. I’d carefully study the screenshots to try to figure out which system had the best graphics for all the games. I never did get that next level system. Well, not until years later.
