Welcome back to another episode of Retro Radio Memories! This week we are giving a listen to an episode of the Hollywood Star Time radio show from back in 1946. Hollywood Star Time was produced by CBS Radio as a drama program starring the most popular stars of Screen, Stage, and Radio. The series was broadcast from 1946-1947 and produced 43 radio programs like the one we have tonight, the radio adaptation of 20th Century Fox’s 1940 motion picture “The Mark of Zorro”.
For the radio adaptation CBS secured the talents of Cornel Wilde (The Greatest Show on Earth, Leave Her To Heaven) to perform the role of Don Diego Vega/Zorro.
