If you are a fan of Colorforms and Popeye or both, Hake’s has a wonderful lot of Popeye Colorforms for sale. These Colorforms are a great mix, comprised of items from the late 1950s, including this wonderfully displayable piece:

Lot of 8. Includes 11×14″ color proof for “Popeye Cartoon Kit” ©1957 King Features Syndicate Inc. Folded at edges for display. VF. Also comes w/catalog proof sheets for other Popeye Colorforms kits. 18.5×28.25″ sheet has 2 duplicate images showing Popeye and boy dolls sitting at window which shows snowy landscape. 14.5×18.5″ sheet has same image. Two 14×18.5″ sheets have 2 images each showing different scene of dolls at window. These proof sheets have handling wear at edges and are Fine overall. Also comes w/18×25″ bw catalog proof advertising “Popeye Cartoon Kit.” Folded once at center w/.25″ chip at top. Fine-. Final 2 items are 4×5″ color photo negative for large “Popeye The Weatherman” Colorform Kit which shows doll scene w/Popeye and boy sitting at window and overlay showing punch-out outfits and scene decorations relating to weather. A few small chips along top margin which does not affect photo image. VF. Larger 7.5×10″ color photo negative shows Popeye doll holding handle of umbrella.
